to commerate my 200th post, i shall dedicate this post to ULP which has happened exactly ONE YEAR ago.first contact session, when i was grouped with my DARLING C2, we were supposed to discuss what it means to be a leader. seemed like everyone no idea at first, then i started off(: cos i learnt all this in NCO camp le. then milissa helped out with the writing, then it was like the 2 of us giving ideas, the rest all quiet quiet de. then our mentor, khee rui sir, asked the rest to start giving ideas. then got people give liao, like eugene etc. struck up a very satisfying friendship with him ((((((:later we were given our post, and i was given SECRETARY. ends the first session.2nd session: syafinah came in((((: ok, so we went reali mad with each other frm that day onwards...abt 3 boiis etc. love those memories... 3rd session abt the same, and we reali became more bonded...as well as within the CHARLIE platoon, like C1's lily, seetoh, junhong (for me and syafinah, muhahaha), saritha, and C3's aaron etc. LOVE MY CHARLIE PLATOON SO MUCH! then it was the ULP CAMP. 9/6/07 to 12/6/07. went real early in the morning with eugene and the rest. first morning was quite all right, with all the sleeping arrangements and stuff. not much memories on wad happened on first day.second day: was fun in the morning with a VERY^3 TOUGH PT, although not much sleep and i tink didnt bathe frm first day ><3rd day: that victorian guy woke up late, caused us to panic, wad an idiot. the morning went rather smoothly, im glad to say hahahaha XD afternoon was spent to prepare for campfire stuff plus performance. C2 there and then decided to come up with skit, a rushed preparation ><then CAMPFIRE! the best ever!starting was aledi great, with the bear mascot cumin in, soooooooo cute! as it is a tedious process to describe campfire, so i shall cut short to 2 events. one is C2's performance(: although it is prepared last minute, but it turned out great in the end! although, loads of wolf whistles, cos me and eugene hug? no choice, since i minnie mouse and he mickey mouse... then is newspaper dance. let me make it clear that it was SYAFINAH who used to have a crush on junhong, then she influence me to have a crush on him too. then whole platoon suddenly say that i in love with him, like wth!? so newspaper dance, CHARLIE force me and junhong to go up.so, as u know, newspaper dance is like as u dance, the newspaper becomes smaller. so junhong do CRADLE CARRY, PIGGY-BACK on me!!!!! definitely loads of wolf whistles, especially frm EVIL CHARLIE ><bbq next. did loads of things with eugene, duno why(: filled up bottles and everything(: eat also together. so duno why khee rui sir started to say i two timer, first with jun hong, now with eugene. like when did i ever like eugene? haha. got competition to cook 4 best chicken wings for lawrence sir in the shortest time, was damn fun! forgot hu won ><4th day. we organised trip to east coast park, which was a "stone's throw away". played first game, then it rained. we played second game in a pavilion. the rest of the time we cheered cheers all the way. but still, we were rather sombre, cos ULP was coming to a close. went back, did clean up, packed bags and gather at cantenn for final breifing. even though charlie didnt win overall, but i believe the memories will stay for us(:time to go home! took many photos with darling C2! as well as memorable friends i have made out of C2.so yes, my dearest memories of ULP'07 all poured out. a truly enriching experience, and i do hope many others will go for ULP, cos not onli is it educational, it creates many friends in the process!-jeslynn-
